Architecture Week 2025 | Inspiring the Next Generation

Civic, Education, Engineering, Healthcare, We Are More

Leading Workshops:

Kristen Cullen (Huckabee) joined students at Henry W. Longfellow Career Exploration Academy to participate in their Career Speaker series—offering a glimpse into the world of architecture and design while the school’s replacement campus is under construction.

Speaking to 7th grade history classes, Kristen led hands-on activities where students collaborated and designed their own Lego cities before presenting their ideas on how people live, learn, and work together. The partnership continues to be a meaningful way to support student learning and spark interest in the careers that shape our built environment.

Building the Future:

Blake Haney (IEG) joined ACE students for a presentation on structural engineering. Sharing his journey to the practice, he highlighted the crucial role of structural engineers and guided a fun, hands-on bridge-building activity. Thanks to Blake, the students gained a deeper appreciation for the art and science of engineering!

Offering Insights:

Ramsey A. Singer (TSK) presented his work with the Navajo Nation to masters students at Harvard Kennedy School of Public Policy! Tackling complex issues and challenges, Singer spotlighted the history, funding, policies, projects, and concerns that are facing his tribal government.

Seeing the Sites:

Jeff Sudman (E4H) volunteered with Architecture and Design Exchange’s Designing My Future Camp Series, visiting worksites with his son and other students while offering glimpses into some of DFW’s most exciting future projects like the new National Medal of Honor Museum.
