MOREgroup’s Education practice joined the School District of Pickens County today to celebrate the grand opening of their new experiential learning rooms! Designed to represent real-life settings, experiential classrooms offer students the ability to immerse themselves within lessons, interacting hands-on with spaces in subjects like farmers markets, veterinary clinics, and sciences. The delivery method has proven to instill a deeper understanding of subjects and earlier development of social skills in early learners. SDPC is the first district in South Carolina to introduce these environments.
Today is a special milestone for the district as it’s the first day of school and first step into experiential learning—something SDPC hopes to bring to campuses beyond its four new elementary schools (Easley, Hagood, Liberty, and Six Mile). We are proud to work alongside the district and partner Exhibit Concepts to deliver our world-class early learning models to more schools, and to help instill greater understanding and educational growth to last a lifetime.
