Uvalde CISD’s Legacy Elementary School is more than a replacement school, and the new campus represents a significant investment into the education of students as much as it is a deeply intentional effort to heal its community.
The 116,000 square foot campus serves grades three through five and was designed through a community engagement process that embraced trust-building and empathy with every decision. Director of Design Mike Hall shares his perspective on the project, and the careful care taken to deliver a school that supports flexible learning as much as security.
