E4H partnered with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to create innovative laboratory environments that supported cutting-edge cancer research. The Dana 14 Laboratory renovation transformed 15,000 square feet of existing lab and office space on the Boston campus into a modern research hub. Through a multi-phased approach, E4H brought the floor up to DFCI’s current laboratory standards, programming and designing for nine Principal Investigators. By consolidating equipment and eliminating redundancies, the design maximized efficiency and expanded laboratory and support spaces. Key features included BSL2 laboratories, tissue culture and lentiviral culture rooms, computational space, a central core equipment suite, and offices.

The CLS Building renovation enhanced 7,700 square feet with updated finishes and new functional areas, including additional offices, a conference room, kitchen/break room, and a 3,400 square foot open laboratory serving Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Cancer Immunology and Virology programs. Lab support spaces ensured flexibility and collaboration across disciplines.

Through strategic planning and deep expertise in laboratory design, E4H delivered environments that empowered researchers to accelerate discovery and improve patient outcomes.
