C.H. Yoe High School CTE Building | Caudill Webinar Recap

Education, News

We recently had the opportunity to share a closer look at the Caudill Award–winning C.H. Yoe High School CTE Building through a live webinar, highlighting the transformation of a historic campus landmark into a future-ready learning environment.

The session walked through the full story of the project—from early ideation to final completion—offering insight into the vision, challenges, and collaboration that shaped the new Yoe Building.

We were honored to hear from Cameron ISD Superintendent, Dr. Dakroub, who reflected on the community’s role in bringing the project to life. She shared how support for the building grew around its more than 100-year history, and how that legacy continues to be honored today. She also spoke to the impact the space is having on students, and the opportunities it creates for their future.

Members of the project team also shared their perspectives. Casey Annunzio highlighted the collaboration and dedication behind revitalizing the structure, while Mike Hall walked through key design decisions, detailing how the project took shape and what makes the completed building so meaningful today.

As part of the webinar, attendees experienced a student-led tour of the facility—offering an authentic look at how the space is used and why it matters. Watch that tour below to hear directly from students about their experience in the building.
