A Fresh Identity for a Shared Campus
At Abilene ISD’s The LIFT Career and Technology Center, environmental graphics were developed alongside the architecture to shape how students and staff experience the campus. From the earliest design conversations, graphics played a central role in establishing a distinct identity for a campus shared by students from four high schools. In close collaboration with the district, we exercised the freedom they gave us to explore ideas beyond existing branding. The result is a clear identity for this shared campus, one that can adapt as CTE programs grow and change, becoming a reference point for future CTE facility design.
Maturity Through Subtlety
Rooted in the building’s geometry and architectural details, the graphics are intentionally abstract and refined. This subtle approach creates a sense of maturity across the campus. By echoing the architecture rather than overpowering it, the design elevates the space and reinforces The LIFT’s role as a bridge to student futures.
