Electronics Center and Technical Studies Renovation

Texas State Technical College (TSTC) has advanced the modernization of its engineering, environmental, and technology facilities to better support hands-on, high demand workforce programs. The project includes the renovation of the EEC and TSC buildings, both one-story, steel-framed instructional facilities totaling approximately 82,000 square feet on TSTC’s Waco campus.

The EEC Building (approx. 41,000 square feet) has undergone targeted renovations across 24,400 square feet to update classroom and laboratory spaces supporting instrumentation, robotics, and electrical power controls programs. The TSC Building (approx. 41,000 square feet) includes approximately 26,600 square feet of renovation to accommodate biomedical technology and environmental health and safety instruction, as well as upgraded office and support spaces. Design services include full architectural, engineering, and building- systems modernization to enhance functionality, safety, and flexibility for future instructional needs.
