The reimagined C.H. Yoe High School Career & Technology Education Center at Cameron ISD has received the Caudill Award, the highest honor presented at the 2026 TASA Exhibit School of Architecture. The award recognizes projects that exemplify excellence in planning and design of the learning environment.
Originally built in 1921 through a visionary gift from the Yoe family, the historic campus has been thoughtfully transformed into a future-focused CTE center. By preserving defining architectural elements all while introducing modern labs and flexible learning spaces, the project bridges generations of education and opportunity. With strong district leadership and community support, the Yoe Building continues its role as a place where education opens doors for students today and into the future.
