Engaging Public Works Leaders at 2026 APWA Spring Conference

Civic, Industry Excellence

Kelvin Haywood and Alexander Quintero recently attended the 2026 APWA Spring Conference in Henderson, Nevada, joining public works professionals from across the region to explore the future of infrastructure, planning, and the evolving tools shaping the industry.

Over the course of the conference, they participated in sessions centered on the challenges and opportunities facing public agencies today. Topics included stronger alignment between planning, design, and construction through improved survey and data processes, the growing role of artificial intelligence and data-driven decision-making, and the importance of communication and collaboration in delivering successful infrastructure projects.

Kelvin joined Nevada State University President Amber Lopez Lasater, DPP to present insights on connecting long-term vision with practical implementation, particularly as it relates to public sector partnerships and the development of a new university campus. Kelvin’s perspective highlighted the value TSK brings as a design partner working closely with agencies and institutions to turn ambitious goals into lasting outcomes.

Beyond the educational sessions, the conference also created opportunities to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas with peers, and stay engaged with the priorities shaping Southern Nevada communities. We’re proud to see our teams represented at events like APWA that keep us connected to the challenges communities face and the solutions that help our civic projects create meaningful impact.
