Florim Kukaj Named to BD+C’s 2026 40 Under 40 Class

Florim Kukaj, AIA, EDAC, Associate Principal at E4H, has been named to Building Design+Construction’s 40 Under 40 class of 2026. Over 15 years, 13 of them exclusively in healthcare architecture, Florim has led more than $550 million across 120+ capital projects for health systems including NYU Langone, NewYork-Presbyterian, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Northwell, and Mount Sinai.

Florim’s work also extends to the next generation of professionals as he co-directs programs for AMFP North Central New Jersey and leads the HFMSNJ Mentorship Program. He has mentored early-career professionals for three consecutive years, and AMFP North Central New Jersey named him its 2025 Volunteer of the Year. Read more about him at BD+C’s website.
