MOREgroup, a leading family of architecture, design, and engineering brands serving communities across the United States, today announced the appointment of LaShae Baskin as Chief Executive Officer. Christopher M Huckabee, who successfully transformed Huckabee into one of Texas’s foremost educational design firms before spearheading the creation of MOREgroup, will transition to a new role of Founder, Executive Officer focusing on strategic acquisitions and growth initiatives. As a dynamic family of brands dedicated to strengthening social infrastructure through design, MOREgroup continues to build on its founding vision of innovation through collaboration.
Under Chris’s leadership, MOREgroup has emerged as a significant force in healthcare, education, and public architecture design, thoughtfully bringing together specialized firms to serve clients nationwide. This planned transition builds upon the firm’s momentum and positions the family of brands for its next chapter of growth and enhanced services.
“We didn’t just want to grow bigger – we wanted to create something fundamentally different,” said Huckabee. “LaShae understands that vision. She’s proven it by bringing our brands together in ways that create real value for our clients. She’s exactly who we need to lead MOREgroup forward.”
LaShae brings more than 20 years of industry experience, architectural project management, and charismatic leadership to the role of CEO. She has a proven track record of executing efficiently and effectively with people at the forefront. As Executive President, she has overseen the successful integration of five architecture and engineering firms into MOREgroup’s platform, including the founding brand Huckabee, Rachlin Partners (now Huckabee), TSK, Innovative Engineering Group (IEG), and E4H Environments for Health Architecture. While each brand retains its distinct focus, internally they collaborate as one firm with the goal of enhancing innovation, client service, and impact for the communities they serve.
“What sets MOREgroup apart is our ability to bring deep sector expertise to every project,” said Baskin. “Our brands have worked on some of the most innovative projects across the nation, from Career and Technical Education centers that generate new revenue streams for school districts to hospital master plans that transform the way native populations receive care, and so much more. By working together, we are taking that deep sector expertise and using it to help inform ways to innovate across all areas of our practice. This delivers more impact and value for our clients and their communities.”
Under Baskin’s leadership, MOREgroup will continue expanding its services across healthcare, education, and public sector projects. The foundations of the firm will remain unchanged – integrity, innovation, quality, and client service – while the opportunity for excellence and impact will continue to grow.
