Abrazo Mesa Micro-Hospital

Abrazo Community Health Network opened a 32,500 SF neighborhood micro-hospital in Mesa, AZ. The freestanding facility offers 24-hour care with a 13-bed emergency department, diagnostic imaging, surgery, an eight-bed inpatient unit, as well as lab and pharmacy services.

This facility was designed to address emergency needs and lower acuity patients and is closely integrated with nearby Abrazo Community Health facilities including the Abrazo Heart Hospital and a bariatric wellness center. This is the first prototype of three neighborhood micro-hospitals located in Arizona.
