AnMed North Campus Inpatient Renovation

As the result of a master facilities plan and campus consolidation effort, E4H provided planning and design services for an inpatient renovation at AnMed Health’s North Campus. This project expanded and improved services across four floors including the emergency department, med/surg, behavioral health, labor and delivery, and mother/baby units.

The obstetrics program features six LDR rooms, two C-section ORs, a triage suite, 16 postpartum rooms, a nursery, a NICU, and staff support spaces. Renovations to the med/surg floor expanded and upgrade the ORs. A new same-day surgery suite, PACU, and an orthopedic rehab suite were added.

These projects required the phased relocation and modification of ancillary departments and functions. The design team employed a fast track/design-assist delivery process, and carefully coordinated with the design, engineering, and construction teams to allow the hospital to maintain operations during construction.
