Bureau of Reclamation Administration Building

Located in the Historic District in Boulder City Nevada, the Administration Building was originally constructed in 1932 and housed the offices of the chief construction engineer and their staff during the construction of the Hoover Dam. The Bureau of Reclamation presently owns the building and uses it for administration offices. The project included a remodel of roughly 20,000 SF over three levels to incorporate new departments, including the Regional Director’s office.

The main level of the building was completely renovated to consolidate the Regional Director’s office, provide flexible conference space, new restroom and kitchenette fixtures and finishes, and an updated lobby which will house displays explaining the history and accomplishments of the Lower Colorado Regional Office. The remaining two levels were also updated to better fit the needs of the departments occupying them which included creating larger open-office environments, updating the flooring, restrooms, kitchenettes, and lobby areas.
