Cypress High School Track & Field

The project scope included the complete demolition and removal of the existing natural track and field to make way for the construction of a modern synthetic track and a synthetic turf field designed for both football and soccer use.

This transformation was supported by comprehensive civil, structural, electrical, architectural, and specialty design components to ensure long-term performance and functionality. A new bleacher system with a seating capacity of 1,150 was installed to enhance the spectator experience, along with a state-of-the-art Musco sports lighting system and integrated sound system to support both day and nighttime events. The existing irrigation system serving the adjacent grass fields was upgraded to improve water efficiency and coverage.
Additional site improvements included new lighting and electrical infrastructure to support egress pathways and public address systems. The scope also featured the construction of new dugouts at the junior varsity softball field, further enhancing the athletic campus and supporting student athletic programs.
