Emerging Technologies & Workforce Building

The new workforce building will occupy a prominent one-acre site on campus and will be the new “face” of the college, setting a precedent for design aesthetics. The facility will be a significant showpiece and will provide a unique balcony space with views of the campus. The facility will accommodate the college’s growth and will allow Weatherford College to prepare for the future.

The building will include instructional spaces (flex labs, training rooms, computer lab), administration, corporate college (dining, catering, etc.), common spaces and general facility support. Departments will include applied technology, cosmetology, barbering and spa labs. A unique aspect of this facility will be a 9,000 SF leased space for Workforce Solutions, an organization that helps connect individuals to career opportunities.
