E4H has implemented over a dozen rehabilitation hospitals for Exalt Health, each time adapting the design to meet the needs of the surrounding community. Primarily serving older individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and mobility loss, these facilities support Exalt in their mission to help patients regain independence through efficient, patient-centered care.

The Lakewood Ranch location contains all the elements that make the design effective for patients and providers, including a centralized nurse station that minimizes travel distances for staff, improves visibility, and consolidates essential clinical functions.

At the same time, this specific treatment center is tailored to the needs of its Florida context, with a window system that meets high impact requirements, and bright interiors that reflect a coastal aesthetic. To meet care demand, the facility also houses eight dialysis rooms, doubling the count of past iterations.
