Hoover Dam Visitor Center Renovation

The Hoover Dam Visitor Center Remodel project includes the remodel of roughly 10,000 SF on the Theater Level of the Hoover Dam Visitor Center, excluding the theaters themselves. There were several goals for this project which included modernizing the aesthetic, brightening the space, improving the acoustics, and utilizing durable, easily cleanable materials. The renovation included new interior finishes for the floors (terrazzo), walls (acoustic paneling), and restrooms (FRL and epoxy). In addition to the finishes, the existing wall murals were replaced with new images printed directly onto the acoustic wall panels, the open staircase and railing was also replaced to update the aesthetic and comply with current accessibility requirements, and the ticket booths and security booth were updated to match the new aesthetic of the space.
