Hospital Expansion & Renovation

INOVA Alexandria Hospital retained E4H to design the largest expansion to their building in over 30 years. The program for the project included the expansion of the emergency department, cardiovascular interventional radiology, outpatient surgery, laboratory, and a 24-bed telemetry unit. The elements of the emergency department expansion include new patient and ambulance entrances, two resuscitation rooms, a CT scan room, and an eight-bed clinical decision unit. CVIR expansion includes six new treatment rooms with four cath labs, an EP lab, and neuro interventional radiology lab (bi-plane).
