Safety Operations Center

In response to the growing needs of the district, Mansfield ISD worked with Huckabee and our partners at MOREgroup (IEG and TSK) to design a state-of-the-art police and safety building—an innovative project that brings multiple departments together under one roof. The facility represents a significant step forward in enhancing the safety, security, and overall well-being of every student, staff member, and campus within the district.

The new building offers expanded space, advanced resources, and improved functionality, empowering the Security Department and Police Department to work side-by-side with greater coordination and effectiveness. This closer collaboration is key to delivering rapid emergency response and ongoing support for the entire MISD community.

The facility is designed not only to strengthen emergency response efforts, but also to support mental health and overall wellness. It includes dedicated areas for crisis intervention and collaboration among safety teams, counselors, and social workers; a comprehensive training center to better prepare personnel for a variety of emergency scenarios; and a centralized command hub for monitoring security systems and coordinating efforts with local law enforcement and community partners. Altogether, this project reflects MISD’s deep commitment to providing a safe, secure, and supportive environment where students and staff can thrive.
