Shady Grove Fertility Raleigh

Located in Raleigh, Shady Grove Fertility Carolinas is a two-story clinic and ambulatory care facility. Working with Shady Grove Fertility on the design of this new facility, our mission was to provide a high level of patient-centered design for individuals going through a stressful, sensitive, and exhausting process. It was critical to create a welcoming environment that puts patients at ease.

Private consultation rooms, warm wood finishes, a soothing color palette, and small home comforts in waiting areas foster a sense of comfort. Wood slats are used to create separation and privacy in public areas, while providing staff with a sightline to the patient in clinical spaces. A thoughtfully designed floor pattern provides subtle wayfinding and transition areas. Select decorative light fixtures throughout the clinic replace the sterile and institutional feel of traditional healthcare facilities.

The first floor has six exam rooms, four private consultation rooms, an endocrine and andrology laboratory, and staff support spaces. The second-floor features two procedure rooms, six patient bays, three transfer rooms, support spaces, and a full IVF laboratory equipped with the latest, state-of-the-art medical technology.
