Sister Caritas Cancer Center

The Sister Caritas Cancer Center renovation and expansion at Trinity Health, Mercy Medical Center increased efficiency by consolidating outpatient cancer care programs in one collaborative space. The design improves the patient’s experience by creating privacy and providing a calm, nurturing environment. The expansion to the existing radiation oncology treatment program includes a 12,500 SF medical oncology clinic with 12 exam rooms, as well as a 13,500 SF medical oncology treatment space with 32 infusion bays and two private infusion rooms. The infusion bays include privacy screening, personal televisions, and space to accommodate a supporting family member or friend. The private rooms are designed to comfort and support those who wish to be secluded during the infusion process.
