UVM Medical Center LINAC Replacement

E4H designed a replacement Linear Accelerator vault for the University of Vermont Medical Center’s Radiation Oncology department. The Varian LINAC with Brainlab integration is one of two such installations in the country. Brainlab is a precision positioning system to better target cancer cells and avoid damaging healthy tissue.

The LINAC vault features natural wood millwork, recessed lighting, and ample storage space. A full size wallcovering with an image of a mountain landscape fosters a serene environment for patients undergoing intensive radiation therapy.
