Virginia Hospital Center’s McLean-Tysons Orthopedic Surgery Center is a partial floor tenant fit-out constructed in a previously occupied space on the first floor. The ambulatory surgery center included a waiting lobby, 4 operating rooms, prep, stage II, and pacu bays, and associated staff support areas. First floor tenant fit-out with partial ambulatory occupancy within the business occupancy. Ambulatory surgery center is 100% outpatient service. There are no 23 hour plus stays. Level of alteration per VEBC 601.2 – Level 2. Additionally, exterior work to support the ASC function included a ramp and stair with handrails, AHU and generator pad, free-standing and attached canopies.
