Sanford Tassel is the Chief Financial Officer for MOREgroup. With over three decades of financial experience at global firms, he’s cultivated success across a wealth of initiatives, professionalizing platforms to scale, integrating acquisitions, reducing complexity, and building strong, collaborative teams. Formerly, as CFO for an A/E/C firm, he oversaw finance, business services, and information technology. At MOREgroup, he’s building partnerships with our architects and engineers, understanding where and how the finance department can support vital functions across practices.  

Sanford’s greatest passion is developing and mentoring his teams. He provides creative freedom, as well as honest, actionable feedback, with the aim of empowering his teammates to excel. Under the guidance of this approach, he’s had the privilege of seeing many former colleagues receive promotions to leadership positions, some going on to become successful CFOs. Sanford’s focus on people and partnerships, both internally and externally, makes him integral to the growth of customer-focused organizations.
