Christopher M Huckabee, AIA is the Founder, Executive Officer of MOREgroup, a firm that unifies services, expertise, and innovation from brands within the architecture, design, and engineering fields. MOREgroup was formed through the combination of Huckabee, Rachlin Partners (now Huckabee), TSK, Innovative Engineering Group (IEG), and E4H Environments for Health Architecture. The family of brands touches all aspects of social infrastructure—from healthcare, education, and public architecture to the engineering systems that support them all.
Chris served as CEO of Huckabee, an award-winning education architecture firm, for three decades before leading the charge to establish MOREgroup. His vision was to create a platform for growth centered on brands that led their markets with focused expertise. As Founder, Executive Officer, he is committed to the continuation of legacy and opportunity by seeking best-in-class brands who share MOREgroup’s beliefs in excellence, integrity, and service to community. MOREgroup’s platform allows brands to accelerate growth, generate more community impact, and expand market presence by preserving and celebrating the identity that brought them success.
Both personally and professionally, Chris serves on multiple boards and speaks frequently on topics relevant to education and the A/E industry. His service philosophy focuses on building strong communities through education, youth services, and leadership development. Chris was twice appointed to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and recently served as Chairman of the Board of Regents at Texas Tech University, his alma mater. In addition, he is the past Chairman of the North Texas Community Foundation and a former Board Member of Cook Children’s Health System.
