Principal Architect Dan Cantu thrives on creating spaces that serve both clients and communities. Over his 30-year career, Dan has tackled site verification, permitting, design, document preparation, contract administration, client relations, proposal development, and business development. His expertise spans federal, state, municipal, manufacturing, warehouse, medical, and historical projects, involving interior models, facility upgrades, building expansions, new construction, and site development. Dan values simplicity in design, preserving history by showcasing original materials and honoring the natural colors of stone and brick.
Dan leads by example, mentoring the next generation with humility and openness. He acknowledges mistakes, learns from failures, seeks Collective Wisdom, and embraces change—qualities that strengthen his connection with his team and prioritize listening over speaking.
Outside of work, Dan serves as Chapter President for the CSI Dallas Chapter and is an active member of his local AIA chapter. Through these roles, he focuses on improving facility performance, believing that the built environment fosters hope, pride, and cultural identity while providing shelter, inspiration, and benefit to communities.
