Derek is a licensed engineer in the State of Texas who serves as the President of MEP and works to develop and reinforce MEP processes and standards across the firm. He brings almost a decade of engineering experience and serves as a technical advisor and as an engineer of record for the mechanical department. Derek’s extensive experience with various HVAC systems across many different market sectors, combined with his participation in industry organizations such as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), gives him the expertise to lead an array of projects. Derek also serves as one of the firm’s geothermal experts and is a Certified GeoExchange Designer (CGD).
