Godley ISD’s Pleasant View Elementary School is a 110,000 SF, two-story facility, designed with seven academic houses that foster growth and community. At its center is the vibrant Center for Learning and Innovation (CL&I), paired with a dining area that creates a welcoming, park-like atmosphere. The furniture in this project encourages playfulness and fuels flexibility for each space from the ground up.

A key focus of the project was the library, positioned as the heart of the school. This flexible and engaging space is designed to captivate visitors upon entry and serve as a focal point for collaboration and creativity. The furniture plays a critical role in bringing this vision to life, with pieces tailored to support the needs of every grade level. From grassy ottomans reflecting the park-like theme to the nature-themed graphics surrounding the room, each space inspires playfulness and engagement. The team prioritized functionality while incorporating vibrant, colorful designs that encourage students and teachers to view these spaces as extensions of their classrooms.

The district’s vision of a holistic project—integrating graphics, furniture, and architectural design—was achieved through intentional collaboration. The result is a series of spaces that seamlessly blend creativity, flexibility, and learning. The furniture not only fulfills practical needs but also reinforces the playful and inviting atmosphere of the facility.
