Expanding access to pediatric services in its growing North Texas community, Cook Children’s Arlington is designed to support high patient volumes and consistent care delivery. A tenant finish-out, the primary care clinic continues the provider’s long-term partnership with E4H while refining clinic standards across the system.
The 16-exam-room layout surpasses typical capacity and is organized into four pods, each anchored by a central care team hub. Its configuration supports continuous coordination among care providers and staff and allows teams to efficiently manage patient flow throughout the day. Each exam room follows the same handed layout, placing sinks and equipment along the same walls regardless of orientation to reduce variation. The research-based approach minimizes errors and streamlines daily routines in the client’s fast-paced environment focused on infants and young children.
Centralized teamwork areas anchor the clinic and combine seated workstations and collaboration zones to support better communication. The interior finishes are customized with Cook Children’s colors to create a consistent identity and experience across locations.
