Chris joined TSK in 2007. Already a highly awarded young architect, his substantial contribution to the profession was recognized in February 2020 when he received the AIA 2020 Young Architects Award, the most prestigious national award conferred on individuals demonstrating exceptional leadership in architecture.
Chris`s work can be seen today all across the Southwest and internationally in the Far East. He has worked on a wide range of complex projects – from government and commercial to transportation and educational facilities – and developed a body of work which is recognizable for its inclusion of balanced daylighting, strong formal expressions and bold color palettes.
A natural leader and exceptional architect, Chris brings deep technical expertise to assessing site and building massing options, creating programmatic floor plans and circulation diagrams, and developing 2D and 3D graphics and presentational aids. He is also a passionate advocate of sustainability research, integrating natural phenomena, local resources and traditions into the design and ongoing operation of buildings, while considering their interrelationship with the environment through the use of appropriate new technologies.
