For over 20 years, MOREgroup’s Chief Operations Officer Craig Paker has generated growth, financial results, and creative energy at organizations whose core business is design. In positions of executive leadership at everything from global architecture firms and real estate investment companies to Walt Disney Imagineering, he has provided high-level guidance on a wide range of project types and scales, recruiting and overseeing integrated, cross-functional teams of experts in master planning, development, design, engineering, production, project management, and construction. The core strength he brings to MOREgroup is his ability to remove friction. Understanding that the impact of design does not come from executives, but from the designers, engineers, and creatives who do the work, he views his job as one of protecting teams from confusion and bureaucracy so that they have a clear path to delivering exceptional, client-centered projects.
As a leader, Craig values candor, rigor, and intellectual curiosity. He seeks out perspectives different from his own, surrounding himself with experienced teammates who have strong opinions they’re willing to voice. By listening, giving clear guidance, and removing roadblocks, he empowers those around him to succeed.
Whether expanding access to housing, reinforcing energy infrastructure, or providing entertainment, Craig’s work has always strengthened communities, but at MOREgroup, he’s proud to give life to the facilities and spaces that sustain them. A Southern California native who now lives in Salt Lake City, he leads an active life of hiking, biking, and surfing, when time and geography permit.
