Northwell Center for Women’s Cancer at the R.J. Zuckerberg Cancer Center Renovation

The Center for Women’s Cancer at the R.J. Zuckerberg Cancer Center is Northwell Health’s first facility focused solely on women’s cancer care. The center brings breast and gynecologic services together into a centralized location, helping patients move through evaluation, treatment, and support more easily.

The 21,000 square foot outpatient center includes 26 state-of-the-art exam rooms, 10 consultation spaces, two procedure rooms, an onsite lab, and a healing garden for quiet breaks from clinical activity. The design supports coordinated care by placing surgery, medical oncology and supportive services within easy reach, creating a campus that shortens travel and streamlines appointments.

Integrated access to infusion therapy, radiation medicine, plastic surgery, genetic counseling, and imaging and clinical trials positions the center as a leading hub for oncology. The building supports a multidisciplinary model where genetics, risk profiles, and treatment needs are addressed in a connected environment that improves clarity and efficiency for patients and providers.
