Baptist HealthPlace at Seven Pines is the first completed business in the new Seven Pines development of Jacksonville, Florida. In addition to moving healthcare services closer to its growing community, the medical office building (MOB) seizes the opportunity to set the architectural tone for future development.

The building houses primary care, internal medicine, laboratory services, healthy living programs, infusion therapy, cardiology, neurology, and flexible space for future providers.

Rising steel costs threatened budget goals during the design phase. The team responded with a precast exterior that kept the project viable while preserving the client’s vision. To balance cost and aesthetics, the team incorporated a custom curtain wall system and expansive glass facade to deliver the building’s modern appearance.
