Family Courts & Services Center

The Clark County Family Courts and Services Center is a 102,500 square foot building, connected by an atrium to two existing structures creating a complex that is designed for the delivery of judicial and social services to troubled families. The new building is designed as a user-friendly facility for children and their families while providing the formality required of a courthouse.

The three-story family courts building includes 11 court rooms, judges’ chambers and more than 60,000 square feet of county clerk offices, court administration and food services. An additional 42,000 square feet of existing adjacent structures are utilized by public defenders, district attorneys, and social service agency offices. It also houses a counseling and judicial intervention system that serves as a prototype for state and county jurisdictions nationwide.
