As Director of Visualization, Chris Lyner provides strategic and creative leadership for the firm’s visualization practice. He guides the development of visual communication, immersive media, and storytelling that supports design excellence and strengthens client engagement. Leading a team that produces work ranging from still imagery to real-time environments and cinematic narratives, Chris ensures design intent is clearly communicated through thoughtful, high-impact visuals.
With a strong vision for large-scale visualization efforts, Chris is skilled at organizing complex workloads and aligning the right talent to the right tasks. He empowers team members by building on their strengths while encouraging growth in areas of personal interest, fostering both quality and innovation. His leadership also extends firmwide through the creation of documentation and visual assets that promote the visualization team and its capabilities.
Throughout his career, Chris has contributed to projects ranging from small residential work to global, city-scale pursuits, including Sidra Medical and Research Center and the FIFA Complex in Doha Qatar, Ha’il City in the UAE, the Joint Operations Center at Fort Meade, and the MGM Grand remodel in Las Vegas. An active voice in the visualization community, he has led seminars at Autodesk University, organized a 3ds Max user group in Houston, and served on the SIGGRAPH MN board. Chris believes good design brings people together, creating places that inspire pride, joy, and stronger connections within the communities where people live and work.
