Thought Leadership
Education is everchanging. At MOREgroup, we don’t just keep pace—we set it. Our team of experts is versed in designing facility types across the spectrum of innovation, from the traditional to the experiential, but we’re also more than architects, with backgrounds in education, public policy, and more. Together, with our holistic body of Collective Wisdom, we support your educational program through design choices backed by responsive, student-centric evidence.
Experiential Early Learning
Our education practice is a pioneer in experiential early learning—a research-backed approach that recognizes students learn best when they are actively engaged in exploration, investigation, and problem-solving. Data shows that these experiences build a stronger foundation for comprehension in critical early years.
In early learning centers, immersive experiences take the form of museum-quality classrooms.
Real World Experiences
Facility design plays a pivotal role in connecting theoretical concepts to real-world experiences. By immersing students in hands-on educational experiences at all levels of the learning journey, we’ve become innovators in career and technical education (CTE).
The experience of real-world, career and technology education can begin anywhere.
From STEM academies and middle school CTE programs to high schools that double as business incubators, our team understands the evolving needs of education and the power of built environments that empower students to learn by doing.
21st Century Learning
We design the full spectrum of spaces for today’s learners, educators, and administrators. We create optimal learning environments for any methodology, from traditional to problem-based, project-based, challenge-based, flipped classroom, blended learning, virtual, and hybrid instruction. Flexible furniture, equipment, and technology are central to the adaptability of our designs.
Safety + Security
School safety and security has many facets; the strength of our team is our ability to facilitate a well-rounded and open discussion on how the community, district, and campus wish to approach this important topic. Our team considers brain research, emergency management, and trauma-informed care to meet occupants where they are and adapt space to their needs.
We are proud to represent our clients in national forums where topics of building codes, shelter requirements, facility standards, and more are being discussed and formalized. Our goal is to advocate for them in these arenas to ensure their voices are represented.
